SUSTENTABILIS TERRA
About Us
Sustentabilis Terra is a science journal that highlights secondary student research on topics of sustainability. We recognize that tackling the complex problems of sustainability demands rigorous scientific inquiry, innovative solutions, and a collective vision for change. We are committed to providing a dedicated platform for young scientists and researchers to come together, share knowledge, and explore new frontiers of sustainable practices. We firmly believe that through scientific rigor and collaboration, we can pave the way for a brighter, more sustainable future for generations to come.
Our Mission
In an era marked by unprecedented environmental challenges and growing concerns about the future of our planet, the importance of sustainability has never been more profound. Our world is grappling with pressing issues such as climate change, resource depletion, biodiversity loss, pollution and land and water degradation.
While ultimately humans will be required to address these problems, science research is the foundation upon which we build our understanding of sustainability challenges and develop the knowledge, innovations, and policies necessary to address them effectively. This can happen in the following ways:
-
Innovation framework: science research provides the knowledge and innovations needed to develop sustainability technologies, understand complex systems, and create evidence-based solutions
-
Interdisciplinary collaboration: it fosters collaboration among experts from various fields to tackle sustainability challenges holistically, considering environmental, economic and social factors
-
Global impact: scientific research contributes to global efforts by informing policy decisions, raising public awareness, and facilitating international cooperation to address pressing sustainability issues
In the pursuit of sustainability, nurturing the next generation of scientists and researchers is paramount. Providing a platform for young scientists to embark on their research journeys at an early stage is an investment in our planet’s future. These budding scientists bring fresh perspectives, untapped creativity and an unwavering passion for addressing sustainability challenges. By encouraging and supporting them in their pursuits, we not only empower them to contribute to meaningful solutions but also cultivate a culture of environmental stewardship and scientific inquiry that will endure for generations
At Sustentabilis Terra, we are dedicated to tackling urgent sustainability challenges through scientific research and interdisciplinary collaboration. We are equally passionate about nurturing young scientists, believing in their ability to bring fresh perspectives and innovative ideas to the forefront. Our mission is to foster an inclusive environment that welcomes and mentors young minds, recognizing that by empowering the next generation of scientists, they will be vital assets in the ongoing quest for a more sustainable world.
